About Swarun!
Hello fellow travellers from a couple travelling the world! Swati and Tarun (or Swarun) have been married for over 12 years and have visited 40+ countries together! We plan to get to at least 100 countries before we retire. And then hopefully repeat the ones we really like! This website is dedicated to our love for traveling and we also hope to help some of you in your pursuit to travel and see the world!
Our way of travelling is not just going to the major cities in a country and return. But we would drive into the countryside, see small cities/towns, talk to locals, eat the food, drink the wine and really experience how it is to live in that country! Hence, we aim to give our readers a flavour of places that are not part of the tour itineraries and are somewhat ‘rare’.
We currently live in Toronto, Canada.

Swati had a career in travel and is the inspiration behind the journey we embarked on for the last few years! She currently is self employed and enjoys remote work.
Tarun
Tarun had a successful career in the tech startup world for over 12 years. He is now working in the not for profit sector to help communities in India.
